This gives Tristan the insight to assist her clients cultivate a lifestyle that encourages business growth alongside personal growth, to allow for multiple levels of success.Tristan studied Business and Psychology at San Jose State University, has served as a board member for the Los Angeles Chapter of NIPA, an Ambassador for NIPA National, recently joined NIPA Nationals Education Committee and is an Accredited Pension Representative (A.P.R.) and has her Series 6, 63 & 26.Tristan spends much of her free time enjoying life in Southern California with her husband Alan and four rescue dogs where they enjoy hiking, bike riding, trips to the Central Coast, romps on dog-friendly beaches. She volunteers much of her time to community outreach programs and has done work with The Salvation Army, Helping Women Heal, and Thrive. She can also be seen performing at local comedy clubs when time permits.

Tristan Smith has over 33 years of experience in Corporate America specializing in the qualified plan and financial services Industry with an emphasis on team building, partner development, client servicing and training. She has also leveraged her personal coaching experience to help professionals connect to the tools they need to realize their success as business owners, team leaders, business development professionals, customer care specialists, or just being workers among workers.Prior to joining Voya, Tristan worked with several leaders in the financial services industry including John Hancock, Transamerica, and Empower where she focused on channel development, management and loyalty. She also spent a significant amount of her career managing highly successful client relations teams.
