ACTOPOLIS | The Art of Action is a transnational test field for urban alternatives initiated by Goethe-Institut and Urbane Künste Ruhr. The ACTOPOLIS projects are being developed jointly during 2015 in a transnational and inter-disciplinary working process (Lab), before being implemented in 2016 in Athens, Belgrade, Bucharest, Ankara/Mardin, Oberhausen, Sarajevo and Zagreb. In 2017 a travel exhibition will tour the seven ACTOPOLIS cities.

Make_Shift gGmbH is the core festival organization behind MAKE CITY - Berlin’s first festival for architecture and urban alternatives (http://makecity.berlin/?lang=en). After a successful first festival in June 2016. The second Make City Festival will take place in summer 2018. Make_Shift gGmbH is responsible for the festival management, conceptual development, communications strategy, allocation of funding, acquisition of partners and sponsors, the coordination and visualisation of all associated events.
