Working in a small team, I was required to quickly learn and familiarise myself with industry specific skills and knowledge. By developing my personal skills in this field, I have been able to take a confident role in supporting the business, making significant contributions to the projects on which we are working. Doing this allowed me to become competent in CAD packages such as DraftSight as well as in carrying out SAP calculations.In addition to the technical, engineering based aspects of the position, I was also responsible for liaising with professional contacts in order to organise meetings, convey ideas and research new avenues for the company.During my time at Greengauge I took a leading role in developing a new venture for the company, giving me valuable insight into the process of business development from the startup phase.
