As a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, I apply my expertise in mRNA display to develop peptide-based diagnostics and therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases, specifically Huntington's disease. I also manage the chemical inventory and the lab website, as well as and collaborate with other researchers both in the Roberts Lab and around USC.I am a Ph.D. candidate in Chemical Engineering, with a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from USC and Georgia Tech, respectively. I have received multiple honors, such as 1st place in the Graduate Student Government's Research Symposium and the Viterbi Graduate Student Association Leadership Award. I am skilled in directed evolution, in vitro lab techniques, Matlab, Aspen, COMSOL, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. I have a demonstrated history of working in the pharmaceutical industry and plan to continue research for pharmaceutical development. I hope to relocate to the East Coast after completing my doctoral studies in the spring of 2025.
