In this position, I managed 10K/$411M of United States Air Forces in Europe wartime assets, warehoused/maintained in Luxembourg, while providing logistical/technical support to 30 service providers. Planned, scheduled and performed operational/inventory/cyclic inspections for Civil Engineering equipment. Additionally, my team and I configured five contingency Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources (BEAR) billeting containers worth $1.1M in nine days, providing a 720 personnel bed down capacity to support three separate United States Air Force Combatant Commands. Finally, I initiated $35K Ozone Depleting Substances turn-in by identifying 93 expired R-22 refrigerants before 2015 closeout date. This was a unique opportunity for me to step out of my comfort zone and interact with local nationals on a daily basis.

In this role, I operated, maintained, and repaired HVAC/R systems for 895 facilities/$1.7B supporting 2.3K military/civilian personnel. Secondly, I steered distinguished visitor suite air conditioner replacement by installing a new 2.5T split system unit that doubled the system’s capacity in less than seven hours. Furthermore, I salvaged 238 a/c units for military turn-in, reducing overstock of unusable systems saving $146K and increasing storage capability 25%.

In this position I managed maintenance and repair of 1.7K HVAC systems for 1K+ facilities sustain a $1.5B physical plant. Additionally I led a team of six responsible for over 250 buildings worth $500K Additionally, I directed three-person crew on boiler installation that provided hot water within two hours for 600+ personnel. Finally, I oversaw multi-fan coil unit replacement at refurbished dormitory, which led to 100% cooling capacity for 76 dorm residents.

In this role I repaired, replaced, modified, installed, and maintained high temperature, hot water distribution systems inside 50 industrial facilities to include pumps, valves, oil and gas burners, and insulation. I also performed on and off duty standby for 307 base facilities, 15 missile alert facilities, and 150 launch facilities. Finally, I solely repaired two air conditioners for Minot AFB air traffic control tower resulting in unhindered flying mission status.
