First moving over to Monadelphous i undertook an 11kv Aerial transmission upgrade consisting of the substation at Mt Whaleback BHP, running 300mm2, three phase cabling to each transmission line, As for the rest of my time, i have been working with the core projects crew carrying out various gravity take-up winch upgrades throughout a variety of Rio Tinto sites mainly consisting of Brockman 2, Cape Lambert and Tom Price undertaking an 8 and 6 roster.Works completed on a day to day basis are but not limited to;•Metal conduit Bending various sizes •Various Switchboard upgrades & Installs•Cable tray installation•Cabling upgrades and terminations•Various devices installed •Testing and Commissioning of all devices (Proxy’s,Motors,Marshalling panels, Emergency and standard Lighting along with Distribution Boards )•Fault finding and Rectifying, reporting to supervisor
