My employers, EAI, were contracted to cut concrete by J.E. Dunn while renovating an old butchery into a resort. As a concrete corer, I would use heavy equipment to cut holes into concrete to facilitate the work of other contractors on site. I also was in charge of coordinating laborers to enable my work to flow more efficiently. This job developed my special reasoning skills, as I became familiar enough with the site that I could determine when mistakes were made in layout. It also developed my ability to coordinate work both within my organization, and with others.

My employers, Demoplus, were conducting an implosion of some dorms on the Vanderbilt campus alongside Controlled Demolition Inc. I was in charge of the temp labor as well as our operators, and had to coordinate their work so as to safely complete the job in a cost and time effective manner. This job developed my creative problem solving and leadership skills.
