Effect of impeller geometry, distributor and column diameter on holdup, mixing and heat transfer coefficient is evaluated. The influence of nonideal mixing on heat transfer parameters is found and performance of both the reactors is compared. These studies are successfully applied for scale-up of a commercial reactor.
