ACHIEVEMENTS- 10-12% overall store sales ranking 2nd in the district- 1 of 5 cafes out of the company to achieve Average Transaction Dollar Goal during goal inception year and continue to exceed ~15% increased goal every year RESPONSIBILITIES - Continue to provide responsibilities listed under Café Manager in addition to the responsibilities of district trainer as detailed below.TRAINING - District Café Trainer- Partner with district and regional leaders in the new café manager selection for all 11 stores in our district- Facilitate new manager training including - café server, café lead, & café manager curriculum- Train and provide leadership to café managers in order to translate P&L to improve business decisions - Facilitate operational meetings and conference calls along with district management team to drive sales, gross margin and average transaction dollar goals.- Constant partnership with district and regional management to drive results and ensure that we are moving forward

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - exceed GM% and sales goals for 7 consecutive years - Drive sales by coaching and counseling Cafe servers - Deliver positive financial results through efficient execution of initiatives; use financial reports to identify additional sales, in-stock, and trend opportunities. - manage inventory levels, receiving, purchasing, waste control, and equipment maintenance and repair. -Protect company assets by controlling both internal and external shrink. - Upsell, maintain product presentation standards, and maintain Cafe cleanliness CUSTOMER SERVICE - Maintain team focus on customer loyalty - Provide timely and friendly cafe‚ service - Ensure that product quality and Cafe standards are executed and maintained; - Turn customer complaints into customers for life LEADERSHIP - Lead by serving my team - Plan and assign work to optimize payroll budget. - Coach and communicate with the Cafe servers about all our products and services, enthusiastically model selling behavior, share technical knowledge, and provide recommendations about ways to connect our customers with the right products. - Select, interview, and recommend the hiring of new Cafe servers; oversee and monitor the new hire orientation and training process, ensuring a smooth acclimation to the store and our bookselling culture in partnership with the store manager. -Prepare and deliver performance reviews to Cafe servers; coach and counsel them on performance issues and take appropriate corrective action in partnership with the store manager.
