Self employed through gigs founded within the Chicago Queer Exchange, Minneapolis Queer Exchange and D.C. Queer Exchange on Facebook. Developed a positive reputation as a moving coordinator, transportation provider and all-around handy-person through time-management and extensive networking within Queer community. Currently hold a count of assisting in 40+ moves, and 20+ organizational or cleaning projects. Currently manages a team of 5 people since April 2018 to manage moves in the greater D.C. area.Major projects include: Monitoring & arranging an evacuation move out for a client in lieu of a bedbug infestation within less than 30 days. This included an understanding of fumigation & disinfection standards. The project also required an understanding of salvageable items, including clothes, furniture, books, etc., requiring a complete and through tear down, cleaning & set up of a full one bedroom apartment. To date (for over a year) there have been no bed bug instances in the new apartment. Coordinated a 6-month long, triple move within Minneapolis and Milwaukee for a couple within the queer community. Part one of the project included packing and clearing out a one and a half story condo so they could sell the condo / put it on the market, and transferring the boxes and furniture to their storage unit in Minneapolis. The second part of the project required downsizing and moving one of the partners out of Milwaukee. This included an understanding of personal engagement to one’s belongings, and the sifting and sorting of what should go on to Minneapolis, and what should be left behind. The final part of this move included helping the couple further downsize between their belongings, and moving them out of a two bedroom apartment in Minneapolis, into a three story home.
