I conducted both experimental and numerical studies in this regard. I also performed modeling tasks for the EuroStar-3 project titled "Flame retardant and energy-saving microcapsules for thermal comfort in buildings."PCMs are increasingly utilized in various industries due to their ability to delay freezing in asphalt, reduce cooling loads in batteries, and decrease both heating and cooling loads in buildings, thereby contributing to energy savings.The analyses were conducted using applications such as Ansys Fluent and Design Builder. Sequential Ansys Journal files were generated with a Matlab application to conduct CFD and Steady-State Thermal analyses, enabling the determination of real-world values for boundary conditions with optimization processes until a certain error margin was achieved.Parametric design and geometric optimization studies were conducted to enhance the thermal management of electronic cards. Feasible, mechanically calculated prototype designs were developed in the SolidWorks environment, and the production-ready prototype designs were realized through hand calculations and assembly processes.
