Utilizing primarily the FreeBSD operating system, along with other solutions such as MikroTik RouterOS, Linux distributions, and other open-source systems, I expertly designed and implemented robust, scalable network infrastructures.I successfully deployed dynamic routing protocols (OSPFv2, BGP4), VPLS/MPLS, redundancy, load balancing, and automated monitoring and management systems in ISP/WISP/FISP environments. I also interconnected branch networks (L2 and L3) for hospitals, municipalities, and private companies, ensuring high levels of reliability and performance.With a focus on innovation and efficiency, I developed custom applications for network servers using Python and Bourne Shell, to streamline the network management process. In addition, I delivered technical training in various Information and Communications Technology (ICT) subjects, including operating systems, networks, and programming languages.

At Avell Notebooks, I was one of the key players in the company's expansion, supporting the installation, operation, and production of the new manufacturing plant in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil. I also made a significant contribution to the growth of the annual revenue from 40 million to 180 million (BRL).As part of this effort, I was involved in the planning, procurement, installation and support of the Odoo ERP system and its various modules including CRM, MRP, PLM, accounting, HR, and Bill of Materials management.I played a crucial role in the installation and validation of the OEM licensing for Avell's laptops, which could be manufactured with genuine Microsoft Windows 10 or 11 operating systems. I achieved this by integrating Odoo ERP and Microsoft Digital Operations Services (MDOS) using Python language and remote boot from FreeBSD servers to apply firmware updates and set BIOS/UEFI parameters.To ensure quality and compliance with ISO9001-2015 standards, I implemented an automated testing and benchmarking process for each laptop after assembly, resulting in a report detailing the device's thermal status, storage, memory and more.In my final role at Avell, I was responsible for coordinating research, development and innovation initiatives.

Here I worked (as a federal civil servant) in charge for maintaining the computer labs on the campus; contract inspection, and technical support. Mentorship in some automation and robotics projects developed by students of the institution.Inside the labs, I prepared the ~120 workstations for fast startup. The user (teacher, student or visitor) could select a item in boot menu a list of different operating systems and also a select a fast recovery system (boot - and very very fast - recovery). FreeBSD and ZFS rocks!My professional termination at this federal public employer occurred at my own request.

At WebDimensions (a Brazilian interactive media production company) I worked in the planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of streaming servers for higher volume audience for virtual classrooms for Uni-Yôga (Universidade de Yôga do Mestre DeRose), Sociedade de Pediatria do Rio Grande do Sul (SPRS) e Sociedade Brasileira de Pediatria (SBP).The technology used was based on proprietary Microsoft solutions, physically co-located inside Brasil Telecom's data center, in Porto Alegre (RS - Brazil). At the remote edge (inside the teacher's classroom) the class was transmitted via VPN tunnel to the DC farm, and from there made available with a deliberate delay of 15 seconds (for cuts and operations on the camera switch) to the students around the world.The largest audience I witnessed was ~2100 students from ~27 countries, numbers that were quite high considering the technology and resources at that time, early 2000s.
