• Actively participated as the strategic lead for innovation in the design of an evidence based strategic investment strategy for the Foundation; linked with the Canadian Index of Wellbeing.• Led the design of an innovative design Lab for the Future Fund program that resulted in 4.2 million allocated to 7 highly innovative and strategic initiatives for youth social entrepreneurs. Co- designed the pitch sessions and coaching process. • Successfully managed the investment and decision making process for the effective distribution of a budget of $5M annually to over 480 arts and culture, social services, sports and recreation, and environmental initiatives and organizations; annual targets met within specific timelines • Appointed to lead a major provincial research project called Granting for Impact for the Ontario Trillium Foundation to analyze the impact of its 100 million dollar investments in building capacity in not-for-profit organizations across the province. Completed the project on a secondment in 2004, creating an advisory/working group of internal staff and an external advisory group representing organizations from the USA and across Canada. • Coach and advise on community investment strategies for business and municipal government and not-for-profit organizations

Responsible for a pan-Canadian collective impact initiative for child nutrition across Canada. • Led the implementation of 12 Community Partner Programs throughout five provinces that represented business, education, health and community partners; one became the first Provincial Board for the Foundation• Designed and managed an innovative national Community Partners Granting Program for the Canadian Living Foundation resulting in over 110 child nutrition programs created to nourish over 3,000 children.• Created a practical user-friendly “how to guide” for communities to design, implement and evaluate a community partners program, resulted in improved performance and efficiencies in service delivery.Successfully Implemented a comprehensive community partners initiative in 8 provinces. Established the first provincial board in the Yukon territory for the Foundation.
