I am actively producing and writing music for myself as well as clients across the country. The music industry operates at all hours of the day so I am able to continue my artistry while also having a full-time job. I built a home-studio where I have invested in industry standard equipment and software. In addition to creating music, I am building a production company with the goal of providing affordable resources for emerging musicians to help push their career forward. I have also took numerous classes to learn brand development and digital marketing. With this applied knowledge I was able to release an album that broke the top 50 R&B albums chart on iTunes.Recording and engineering music for myself as well as other clients allowed me to become very technologically fluid. I am very flexible and pick up on things quickly as I have learned to operate new software in order to expand my clientele. I have had numerous live performances over the last 5 years allowing me to further develop presentation and communication skills.

As a Program Associate, I had the responsibility of teaching curriculum for our after-school program with students from ages Kindergarten to High School. We also provided a five-week summer program that allowed students to remain engaged academically throughout the year. In addition to teaching curriculum, I developed skills in Excel and PowerPoint by frequently organizing contact information and school data into spreadsheets. My organizational skills further developed from weekly consolidation of school materials stored in the company office and warehouse. Being a Program Associate for North Chicago Community Partners also allowed for participating in various service projects in the community of North Chicago such as building playgrounds, revamping school offices, and remodeling North Chicago High School. During these service projects I was in charge of providing hospitality for our volunteers and providing project assistance as needed.I worked closely with the K-3rd grade school in the North Chicago district while being a program associate. I was able to build strong relationships with the school’s staff and the students, which influenced my decision to work for the district.

As a Claims Adjuster at Gallagher Bassett, my job was to assist injured workers in making appointments with medical service providers so that they might receive prompt treatment. It would not be uncommon to make and/or receive 20-50 calls throughout the day; each requiring a detailed report entered into the database. It was required that all conversations with injured workers and providers be documented thoroughly into our system. Phone calls would often be fast-pace, which allowed me to develop strong typing skills.
