I was the lead managed services engineer in the Peak 10 Tampa market. My responsibilities included but were not limited to supporting the Tampa market's managed customers IT infrastructure, which included both physical hardware as well as virtual private cloud deployments. I supported hardware and software installations, upgrades and provided preventative maintenance as well as assisted with different issues that occurred day to day. I also assisted in pre-sales discussions that often lead to designing solutions for different scenarios that include offline backups, disaster recovery solutions, business continuity solutions, etc.

While employed at Noah's Place, I was responsible for the information technology needs of a 24/7 emrgency medical hospital for animals. The infrastructure consisted of a large thin-client network along with many workstations and various peripherals that utilize advanced technology to provide the best care to it's patients. I also designed and implemented a complete door access control system accompanied by video surveillance throughout the 15,000 sq foot building.

While employed with FTI, I was primarily utilized as a field technician that spent most weeks on the road configuring and maintaining a ballistics identification system called 'IBIS'. The best part of the job was it allowed me the opportunity to travel around the globe. While employed with FTI, I was able to visit 4 different continents, 13 differrent countries and 42 of the 50 United States!! The job consisted of about 60% electromechanical work with the remaining 40% consisting of software installations, upgrades and maintenance related to the 'IBIS' system.
