I am committed to advancing positive outcomes for children and families and challenging inequalities in early childhood systems through policy. With a background in early childhood, mental health, and disabilities, I have spent my career as a leader committed to promoting successful outcomes in early childhood settings. I am a doctoral student at the Ohio State University in Educational Studies. My research interests lie in the intersection between education and social Justice. I am a lecturer for the Ohio State University College of Social Work and specialize in diversity in practice. I am a board member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the Ohio Association for the Education of Young Children and I volunteer with the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio as a committee member.
