*Work with the Restaurant General Manager in the development and implementation of business strategies for the restaurant which are aligned with T.G.I Friday’s overall mission, vision, values and strategies. *Develops and implements strategies for department managers and staff by monitoring operation status regularly and adjusts strategies as appropriate.*Maximizes productivity by managing the operation, and assisting those assigned in restaurant department (kitchen / bar / server staff), and adjusting scheduling and process as needed. *Coordinates the set-up of restaurant and bar in accordance T.G.I.Friday standards. *Confirm daily specials and new menu addition implantations with Kitchen manager or the beverage service provider in assigned outlet; coaches employees on effective service and food presentation techniques. *Inspects restaurant and outlet areas on an on-going basis and takes appropriate steps to ensure facilities meet or exceeds the T.G.I.Friday standards at all times. *Lead daily staff meetings; conducts daily pre-shift meetings to discuss specials, house count, reservations and new menu items. *Work closely with the Restaurant General Manager to develop and implement strategies and practices which support employee engagement, assist with department orders and equipment repairs. *Recruit and selects qualified candidates for server staff, cooks, dish and prep personal and host/hostess.*Provides employees with the orientation and training needed to understand expectations and perform job responsibilities *Communicates performance expectations and provides employees with on-going feedback. *Provides employees with coaching and counseling as needed to achieve performance objectives and reach their fullest potential. Conduct yearly Performance Appraisals for assigned restaurant department.*Ensure all staff adhere to F.A.A. secured area regulations put in place.

*Conduct Pre-planned Coaching and Mentoring of GMs, AMs and crew.**Plan on-the-job coaching objectives before each store visit using store planning tool.*Provide suggestive on-the-job coaching of key operations and management skills to GMs, AMs and crew.*Conduct Annual Performance Appraisals, Provide positive, constructive, and actionable feedback.*Provide professional develop and career track mentoring to GMs and AMs.*Achieve Operational Excellence in all stores using structured approach.*Reinforce execution of key company policies and standards.*Identify and diagnose most important ongoing operational gaps in underperforming stores.*Develop formal action plans to resolve gaps.*Coordinate field support resources (Field Trainer, Human Resources, Operations Evaluator) where required.*Financial Oversight and Review Meetings.**Review key financial variables as part of store visit pre-planning.*Analyze and track key financial/operational data to derive meaningful business insights.*Develop short executive presentations (e.g. MS Excel/Power point) to communicate key trends and results.*Present financial/operational weekly updates during Market Leader and area GM meetings.*Ensure stores are meeting operating plan through the use of P/L reviews and quarterly business reviews.*Take Leadership role in Market Development activities to drive AWUS growth.**Coordinate with Market Leader and field support to develop market business plans.*Drive the development and execution of Local Store Marketing.*Coordinate field support resources (Market Specialists) to execute LSM initiatives.*Empower GMs to take leadership role in executing LSM (e.g. develop relationships in schools, community, etc.)*Coordinate with Market Leader to identify and pursue new AWUS growth opportunities.
