Troy Cabida is a poet, writer, and library worker with over 10 years experience working in library services, events producing, commissioned and bespoke poetry writing, poetry performance, and public speaking. He is currently open for enquiries on bespoke poetry commissions and consultation of poetry manuscripts. He is the author of 'Symmetric of Bone' (fourteen poems, 2024) and 'War Dove' (Bad Betty Press, 2020). His recent work has been featured in Seaford Review, TLDTD Journal, bath magg, Tiffany & Co, 'Bi+ Lines' (fourteen poems, 2023), 'State of Play' (Outspoken, 2023), and '100 Queer Poems' (Vintage, 2022). His writing focuses on the relationships between fashion, jewellery, Filipino subjectivity, London life, and queerness. His debut collection, 'Neon Manila', will be published by Nine Arches Press in 2025. He currently works for the National Poetry Library, Southbank Centre. Previous roles include Wandsworth Libraries, ALLSAINTS, Language Matters, and Wilde Ones. Troy holds a BA Hons in Psychosocial Studies (1:1) from Birkbeck, University of London.
