Troy is Founder and President of HSE Analytics with extensive experience in leading end-to-end analytics program builds and managing high impact data analytics projects. Troy holds a Ph.D. from the University of Alberta in occupational epidemiology and is the author of over 30 peer reviewed publications. Since incorporating in 2006, HSE has been relied upon by industry, government, and regulators to deliver an unbiased science-based approach to performance management leveraging authoritative data and peer reviewed methods. HSE has delivered end-to-end data analytics programs measuring environmental and social impacts for national oil and gas industry associations and led the analytics component of many multi-stakeholder initiatives associated with very significant economic impact.A recognised expert in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance management, Troy has been a member of the Alberta Government’s Prevention Data Advisory Committee. Previously, Troy has served as a member of the Petrinex Bold Moves Advisory Committee and other national and provincial project committees.Troy has led data analytics projects associated with tens of billions of dollars of impact and represented his clients to federal and provincial government ministries and regulators. As examples, Troy and his technical team led the end-to-end data analytics program build for the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers from 2014 to 2020 (>60,000 hours resource time) and Performance Metrics Program of Energy Safety Canada from 2009 to 2018 (>40,000 hours resource time).
