Responsible for monthly in-services in order to keep lifeguarding skills active and fresh. Supervises swimming activities at the aquatics facility and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed. Responsible for being able to perform in a emergency situation and maintaining a calm and collected composure.

The first and most important part of this job is communication. Being able to communicate with other workers as well as people who regularly use the facility is a crucial part of a well functioning facility. Enforcing the facilities policies is also a very important factor in maintaining the safety of all guests as well as the equipment within the facility.
