Founding Member / Vice President of the Board of DirectorsChiBrrCon is a privately funded, not-for-profit, charitable organization established for information security and technology focused individuals. Building on years of hosting in-house conferences to help address tight corporate training budgets, ChiBrrCon was founded by corporate information security leaders and sponsored by their respective organizations in 2020. The mission and vision of ChiBrrCon are the same as the ones our founders set with their own in-house programs; to provide team members with high-quality training, an opportunity to present to a safe audience, and an opportunity to meet peers with like interests.

• Built the security program for all products and services from the ground up, to include: Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Application Security, Security Architecture, Threat Intelligence, Penetration testing team, Training and Awareness program, Security engineering. Scope includes hundreds of IT and network products as well as field support activities for over 10,000 sites globally. • Built the company wide security champion community to nearly 700 engineers, field techs, and customer relationship managers around the globe resulting in improved organic capability, faster speed of delivery, and millions of dollars in cost avoidance that similar capabilities from centralized program would have imposed. • Integrated with corporate marketing, communications, and global sales team to show value in security, drive improvements, support customer engagements, demonstrate how security provides a competitive advantage.

• Revised the security technology stack eliminating unnecessary redundancy in tools, optimizing existing tools to remove the need for others, and eliminated unused or underutilize technology resulting in millions of dollars in savings the first year alone.• Instituted operational discipline, measures and maturity that resulted in improved detection of events, faster/more complete patching, tighter integration with security and IT teams, and faster resolution of incidents when the occurred. • Built the EMEA and APAC monitoring and response teams enabling the company its first organic 24/7 Security Operations capabilities, ending full dependency on a 3rd party provider, reducing response times from days to minutes.

Helping to lead the thinking of how intelligence works for the Cyber Domain with some of Government and Industry's most passionate and advanced thinkers on the topic

• Oversight and support for The Cyber Intelligence Tradecraft Project (CITP), published in 2013, resulting in the first ever examination of Cyber threat intelligence practices in the Private Sector and a plan for improvement.• Co-Chair of the INSA Cyber Intelligence Task Force and primary author of Operational Levels of Cyber Intelligence, resulting in the series of Cyber Intelligence white papers to shape how Cyber Threat Intelligence works for private and public entities. • Led USMC efforts to created and then run, the US Marine Corps Critical Infrastructure Protection Program resulting in a global Marine Corps wide program to identify cyber weaknesses and harden critical infrastructure and industrial control systems for all USMC base and installation physical systems• Successfully led three operationally deployed Signals Intelligence teams, providing collection and intelligence support for combat, counterterrorism and force protection operations resulting in more safer operations, more effective targeting and reduced military and civilian casualties
