Airport Operations Officer - Conducting daily airfield safety inspections (regular, continuous, periodic, and special) in compliance with 14 CFR Part 139 Certification of Airports Regulations.- Responsible for identifying any possible safety related issues on the airfield including damage to airfield surfaces, runway/taxiway lighting, foreign object debris (FOD), signage/marking and navigational aides.- Respond to all aircraft emergencies (Alert I, II, and III).- Issue Notice to Airmen (NOTAM's), monitor ramp operations and airfield construction projects to ensure compliance with airport, FAA, and TSA regulations.- Coordinate Snow removal and maintenance of runways, taxiways, ramps and roadways via Snow Desk operations including the issuance of SNOWTAMs for field conditions, closures, and airfield impacts.- Enforcement of the Wildlife Hazard Management Plan and wildlife mitigation. Respond to all wildlife strikes and collect incident details to prepare Wildlife Strike Reports and obtain remains for identification.- Quality control inspections of aviation fuel service providers daily.- Take part in the annual certification inspection, table-top exercises, and triennial full-scale disaster drill.- Track all raised structures affecting navigable airspace surrounding the airport for compliance with FAR Part 77.TSR 1542 Compliance:- Investigates security related incidents IAW Transportation Security Regulations TSR 1542 to include security violations, trespassing's, door alarms within the Security Identification Area (SIDA) and Sterile areas of the airport terminal and AOA.- Perform perimeter inspections of airfield and terminal building to maintain 24/7 security.- Access control and video surveillance systems.
