Weekday News Producer, which entails writing script for newscasts, stacking shows, finding content and interviews and editing video while working with anchors, reporters, and assignment editors to create consistent, high quality newscasts, as well as directing and coordinating with anchors, reporters, and directors during breaking news.IRE (Investigative Reporters & Editors) Training16 hour course designed to teach investigative news strategies.Included: -FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests -Knowing how to find relevant information within FOIA documents -Managing and organizing large data sets -Finding and following up on potential leads -Maintaining relationships with informants

Roles included:11/2009 - Production AssistantAssist with behind the scenes production (in studio shooting, creating and managing on air graphics)6/2012 - News Photographerfind local content, shoot video, conduct interviews (for VOs, VOSOTs, PACs, etc.)7/2013 - Web Content Editorcurate and manage the website and social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

Work closely with mechanics to maintain military vehicles to stay on schedule for various missions. Assign and keep track of vehicles to complete various missions. Complete assigned missions with a team of nearly any size, from 2 or 3 people recovering a broken down vehicle to an entire battalion conducting field exercises. Work with and lead groups of up to 20 soldiers to best complete any task.
