As a Projects Manager my role entails the management of major projects across the Essential Energy Northern NSW footprint. Daily duties include, but are not limited to:• Liaise with Operational Managers, Resource Supervisors and Works Programmers to establish works schedules to meet Business optimisation • Manage the operational performance of multiple teams ensuring work outcomes meet the goals and objectives of the Company in a safe, steady and sustainable manner• Scoping Projects • Costing Projects • Obtaining quotes from contractors for relevant works • Coordination of work delivery teams and contractors associated with the project• Engaging applicable internal and external stakeholders • Completing WHSE reports• Monitor current projects to ensure objectives are being met• Facilitate and monitor site Risks and Incident Management Processes• Complete comprehensive reviews of the Project outcomes and report back to relevant stakeholders• Aid in the directing of appropriate resources to address network faults and the efficient allocation of resources to areas to ensure the safety of the network, so as supply can be restored as timely as possible to our network customersSince completing my Certificate IV – Trainer and Assessor TAE40116 and Cert IV WH&S BSB41419, I also act as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor for Essential Energy. This role liaises with both in-house employees and external contractors. Duties within this role comprise of but are not limited to:• The delivery of annual regulatory training, First Aid, CPR, live low voltage techniques and rescues • Ensuring employees and contractors understand the WHS Act/Legislation and Compliance• Reviewing policies, procedures and best practice techniques and recommend changes as necessary• Employee and contractor record management • Facilitate toolbox talks• Pre-Start work site inductions • Conduct Work site Audits of both Employee and Contractor sites
