As Communications Manager for HDR's Architecture practice, I seek out and identify key content ideas with strategic storytelling potential for projects in many locations around the world, including the North America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Australia. I lead the creation of engaging and relevant content to implement integrated communication campaigns and assist with select strategic pursuits for our Healthcare, Science, and Education practices.

As the Senior Communications Specialist for HDR Architecture's global Health program, I seek out and identify key content ideas with strategic storytelling potential for projects in many locations around the world, including the North America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Australia. I lead the creation of engaging and relevant content to implement integrated communication campaigns and assist with select strategic pursuits. My responsibilities include content marketing strategy, articles, interactive content, SEO strategy, targeted ads, social media marketing and storytelling, website and blog content, design award submissions, media relations, video storytelling, e-campaigns and other public relations activities.

- Research, write and edit news stories for AMA Wire, the AMA's news blog, with focus on health policy, advocacy, litigation, physician practice news, and chronic disease outcomes.- Compile AMA Morning Rounds Daily (daily newsletter) and AMA Morning Rounds Weekend, Advocacy Update, Med Ed Update.- Interview physicians on topics, including opioids epidemic, Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act/Medicare reform, litigation and malpractice news, practice transformation, alternative payment models, diabetes prevention, alternative career paths for physicians, resident physician issues, physician burnout- Produce, direct and perform video interviews both live and recorded with prominent physicians on innovation, advocacy issues and the state of the physician-patient relationship- Work with media team to edit video content - Travel to conferences and health care events to provide news coverage: National Advocacy Conference, State Legislative Strategy Conference, Health 2.0, Health Datapalooza, International Conference on Physician Health, AMA Annual and Interim Meetings - Work with different business units to deliver medical news - Work closely with Advocacy team in Washington, D.C., to deliver timely information on health care policy- Oversaw revamp of weekly and daily newsletter, including improving content and increasing open and click rates- From 2015-2016, contributed to a 233% increase in site traffic
