Certified Physician Assistant, who is currently working in a clinical/surgical role with OrthoVirginia. My health care experience prior to PA school is largely prehospital/EMS related, where I worked in dynamic environments that helped me to develop effective communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and delegation skills within team-based, collaborative systems. I was tasked with implementing off-line medical care within my scope of practice to examine, prioritize, and provide care to a variety of patients across the full spectrum of life. With both volunteer and full-time roles, I participated in and helped to develop routine training to enhance knowledge and proficiency of expected job responsibilities. I bring a strong background of dedication, perseverance, and professionalism to this new career and feel that I can be and asset to any team.
