A student from Fort Worth, Texas aspiring to be a criminal defense lawyer. Growing up there was always a part of me super interested in crime and law. I wanted to make the world a better place and I saw defending the innocent as a good way to do this. Using words to solve problems and using evidence to find the truth. This is something I’ve always viewed as important. Going into high school and knowing my passions I decided to dive deeper into law and justice. I took multiple law and forensics classes. My love for it only grew the more I learned. Getting to participate in in-class mock trials was always my favorite. Wanting to continue my education in college I knew this was the right way to go. I’m deciding to double major in psychology and criminal justice so I can better understand the law as well as better understand people. I’m wanting to attend law school once I graduate to get a law degree and be able to open my own firm one day. On my journey to that point, I’d love to get more experience participating in mock trials, learning more in classes, and being an intern at a law firm.
