This role honed my skills in web app technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and strengthened my proficiency in Python. My responsibilities extended to designing user interfaces, developing data analysis scripts, and contributing to system integration and testing.I bring to the table not only technical expertise but also strong soft skills such as leadership, time management, and adaptability. What this school offers is far more than programming in C, or GitHub version control, or Linux commands and makefiles. It’s about learning, being challenged, determination, grit, and not giving up.The school is intense, with 24-72 hour project deadlines. Looking back at my 4 week, bootcamp style, admission acceptance test logs, I spent 10-13 hours every single day as the normal life. It would be a joke not to mention that Time management is key to keeping your head above water. And that One lazy day meant that work gets piled on to the next and every day was a whole new subject.Your forced to learn as much as you can in 24 hours, and some days you will break. You will fail, but if you keep at it with a healthy dose of grit, if you don’t give up, you learn from your failures. You learn that you must understand the problem before you can create a viable solution. You learn how to get information from reputable sources, to read code, understand the algorithms, because stack overflow can be your best friend and your worst enemy. You refine your people skills as this is a peer to peer learning environment. You are forced to get outside your bubble, to meet new people, to ask for advice, to give advice, to say hello. Your going to see these people everyday you might as well utilize them, they are your team. But if I could pick one thing learned from this bootcamp style, programming school that you don't get from college is that there is no place for an Ego on a team, and the less ego involved yeilded far more productivity, even the solo God's failed out projects, some even failed out of the school, because they couldn't work well in their teams their projects suffered.
