Troy's objective is to utilize his experience in sports medicine, elite athletics, and endurance sports to provide high quality training and sports medicine expertise to athletes of all skill levels.Troy's interest in sports medicine came from when he was a collegiate track & field athlete at Biola University in La Mirada, CA. There, he competed in a variety of events but his focus was on the 110m and 400m hurdles. He completed his undergraduate degree there in Kinesiology and got certified as an EMT during that time. He spent two years working in EMS before going back to school at Texas Tech University where he earned his Master of Athletic Training degree and became a certified athletic trainer in May 2016. During his time at Texas Tech, he had the opportunity to work with a variety of athletes and patient populations including high school, DI Track, DII Baseball and an orthopedic outpatient clinic. He was also able to get a level 1 Graston's Certification during that time. In his 8+ years as a certified athletic trainer, Troy has worked in a variety of collegiate settings including DI and Juco with a wide range of athlete populations and skill levels including many who have gone on to high level NCAA I or professional athletics.Troy currently works with the US Army's 101st Airborne Division Combat Aviation Brigade at Ft Campbell, KY. He leads a team of athletic trainers in the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program.
