Troy Friedeck has over 15 years of real estate experience in Southern California. Troy is director of land acquisition at KB Home. His work ranged from land acquisition (site selection and due diligence), site design, entitlement processing, project analysis, jurisdictional coordination, and public outreach. Additionally, Troy is involved in the entitlement and forward planning of KB projects in San Diego County. He is proud to bring focused and responsible residential communities to San Diego.Troy recently served as a Director of Acquisitions and Project Management from 2019-2023, charged with sourcing new deals and managing active projects at Meridian Development. Troy has extensive experience with forward planning, project management, financial modeling, underwriting investments, conducting market research, negotiating transactions, preparing investment memorandums and helping with market strategy. Prior to joining KB Home in 2017, Troy served as a research analyst at Costar Group, one of the largest third party providers of real estate information, analytics and marketing services. Earlier in his career, he was a member of the Marcus and Millichap Real Estate Investment sale team where he helped in the sourcing, marketing, and transacting for numerous commerical and multifamily properties. Troy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of San Diego
