I was given the opportunity to run the show for a white-label SAAS for Konica Minolta - EngageIt XMedia. My task was simple: learn everything about this software product and be the mastermind behind the sales strategy, marketing campaigns, and overall digital presence. But working with some great teams, I was able to succeed and provide direction for our internal and external communications. I led the product marketing vision, trained KM managers across the country, and even gave software demos at huge conferences. It was like being the conductor of a marketing orchestra, but instead of instruments, I had spreadsheets, html code, words, and PowerPoint presentations.SK+G is also where I got my copywriting start. The creative directors at the time reached out to me after they saw some witty, all-agency emails I wrote. After a few test projects, they gave me a shot on an actual client and that's where I got the creative bug. Working with the incredible Heidi Olson and Matt Connelly, I helped create an ad campaign for the SLS Hotel (Currently Sahara) that included some of the best work I've been part of. Gritty shots and layouts from Matt and brilliantly bad-ass lines from Heidi and I - it was wonderful :)
