As the General Contractor for most jobs, I perform the following tasks: Initial investigation and photos; Contact with Owner and setting up adjustment; Contacting original engineering firm to get drawings; initial inspection and adjustment with Insurance carrier for damages on interior and exterior of commercial or residential building(s); analysis of adjustment and negotiating for final adjustment; Interviewing, collecting insurance, documents and contracting all sub-contractors to perform work; managing and facilitating work for all trades; coordinating heavy equipment, dumpsters, waste facilities, water, scaffolding, time-tables, parking and notification to all tenants as well as all neighboring building owners/tenants; pulling permits and taking responsibility and liability for all work performed; meeting, reviewing, selecting and approving all samples, materials, colors and work performed by all sub-contractors; approving and paying for all additional work required during process not included in adjuster report; meeting with owner to perform inspections of progress after each stage of completion, billing and invoicing for payment and providing both my company and material suppliers waivers of lien for work performed
