A broad range of experience in population based health promotion, the fitness industry, occupational health, medical education and lifestyle medicine. Experience includes a previous ministerial appointment as a member of the Board of Directors for Central Coast Health; Northern Sydney Central Coast Health’s Audit and Risk Committee and is the former Secretariat Head of the Australian Lifestyle Medicine Association.Founder and Co-Developer of the Quality Health Measure.

MedScience is an outgrowth of the changes being manifested in today’s medical universe. MedScience™ develops or acquires proprietary diagnostic equipment directed for use by the primary care physician which had hitherto fore been necessary to refer to a specialist. The key criteria of such equipment is to provide the primary care physician with a broader avenue in which to practice evidenced based medicine where previously it may have been necessary to refer the patient to a specialist. The company’s market strategy is driven by two intrinsic factors: 1) proprietary testing equipment and methods fully utilizable by the primary care provider and 2) enhanced economic opportunities for the primary care provider not previously available.

Strategic and Business Advisory.

Mr. Grogan was appointed to the Board of Central Coast Health (CCH) by the New South Wales (NSW) Minster for Health in 2002. CCH was comprised of $300 Million in assets including three hospitals and ten community medical centers with an annual budget of $400 Million. During his time on the Board a further $212 Million in capital funding was acquired for the re-development and modernization of two of its three hospitals. Central Coast Health was merged with Northern Sydney Health in 2004 and the Director General NSW Health appointed Mr. Grogan to the newly formed organization’s Audit and Risk Management Committee. The combined organization’s annual budget was $1.4 Billion and comprised of an asset portfolio of nine hospitals and thirty eight community medical centers, with a book value of $1.4 Billion and 14,000 employees.
