I manage internal and external engagement? dierect consumer sentiment gathering and analysis, strategic campaign communications, directing consumer and team live stream programming, and consumer engagement programming.

I supported the mission and vision of Brand New Congress through communications strategy and implementation, as well as the Congressional and Senate candidates on the BNC slate, located across the nation. I administered our IT structure and managed the provisioning of tech needs of staff, and key volunteer on-boarding. I managed the wordpress instance, livestreaming, and website content creation.

I was the director of communications for MetaArcade, a startup with a vision of building a robust toolset for the creation and publishing of branching, narrative fiction.

I worked to connect individual constituent and community organizations to the campaign platform and the activities supporting the candidate's run for office. I planned, coordinated, and recruited volunteers for trainings and special event support throughout Washington State's 9th Congressional District and beyond. I worked in solidarity with a volunteer team of researchers, communications pecialists, field captains, community organizers, and campaign leadership.

At uGen I helped establish our efforf to develop a virtual-reality play ground where players crafted forts, puzzles, art, and vehicles immersed in virtual reality, or by Android mobile device I managed our onsite and offsite consumer testing programs across both platforms, developed our communications and community engagement plans, built and implemented the production pipeline, established and maintained the distribution of our mobile builds through the Google Play Store, and designed and specced our website and customer portals, working with our web dev team to implement the required features.

I was working on behalf of Motiga, a then-independent developer of the online competitive game Gigantic, to establish deep community connections with our fan-base. This includes coordinating communications and interactions for our global testing initiatives, collaborating with the Motiga team to develop clear communication around our studio values and game development progress, social media and web-based content updates, as well as providing leadership and guidance in our public relations endeavors.

As Producer, I helped plan and facilitate a cross-discipline team of programmers, artists and designers in the creation of in-game social systems. As a Community Director, I supervised all aspects of our global community team, and help coordinate our internal and external communications plans with our global partners. I coordinated our internal focus testing efforts, while planning, building and running our friends and family, closed and live beta plans. I also provide support to the Carbine Development team on milestone management, internal administrative support, as well as recognizing and celebrating Carbine employee contributions and key team milestones.

In this position I supported the Producer and Executive producer in the management of day-to-day production duties. This included managing schedules for key staff, coordinating and assisting in meeting production schedule deliverables and leading external usability testing initiatives.

As Director of Community Relations, I am responsible for sharing news and information related to the development process for the MMP, Pirates of the Burning Sea. Reporting to the CEO, my focus is on establishing connections and activities that will increase the number and quality of community networks that form in support of PotBS. In addition to support for fan communities, I actively collaborate with key media outlets and established social networking resources. My job includes supporting and growing the PotBS User Content Program and maximizing the reach and impact of our title. As the first line of contact for all press inquiries, I am tasked with scheduling and oversight for all media requests related to staff interviews, article requests, and the creation and distribution of any PotBS related media.

In this position I was tasked with managing the Live Events Team for The Matrix Online (MxO). I created and approved all new live event content, and managed a team of writers and 'digital actors' in the delivery of that content to a wide audience of MMP subscribers. In addition, I also coordinated outreach to fansites and press contacts in support of MxO.

During my seven years at the YMCA of Snohomish County, I worked in a myriad of positions in support of community building. These roles included Summer Camp Director, Teen Leadership Programs Director at the Marysville YMCA, a facilitator of youth-run radio talk shows and late night middle school programs for the Teen Services Branch, National YMCA Academy Faculty Member, a leader of adult interfaith programs, a Director of Youth and the Arts Programming, and the Employee Training Coordinator for the Everett YMCA.I can honestly say that the YMCA taught me everything I needed to learn about being a professional community builder. The lessons I learned at the YMCA helped me become a better human being, and continue to guide me to this day.
