Troy Hickox oversees luxury hospitality and lifestyle development across the portfolio at Hong Kong-listed Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), and supports the group’s international development projects. GEG's international footprint extends from Macau in Southern China's Greater Bay Area, to the US and Europe through strategic stakes in NASDAQ-listed Wynn Resorts, and Euronext:Paris-listed Monte Carlo Société des Bains de Mer (SBM). He serves on the board of directors of SBM in Monaco, various GEG subsidiaries and affiliates, and several other private companies; as well as on a number of public and private committees, advisory boards and judging panels. He and his team are responsible for creating, curating and negotiating a savvy collective of exclusive luxury and fashionable lifestyle brand partnerships, events and otherwise more permanent bespoke concepts and collaborations across all facets of hotels and hospitality, wellness, culture and lifestyle at GEG’s developments.His over 30 years of experience have been garnered across multiple continents, at flagship Peninsula, Fairmont and Four Seasons hotels; before embarking on opening and managing both branded and independent luxury and lifestyle hotels recognised on Conde Nast Traveller’s Hot List, the Michelin Guide, and even awarded the coveted Forbes 5 Star rating. He helmed the first member of Design Hotels in Hong Kong, and led hospitality openings of some of the world's largest integrated properties. His experience extends to operating and asset-managing luxury and lifestyle hotels within regional clusters and complexed integrated resorts; as well as collaborating with a broad portfolio of significant hotel, retail, entertainment and lifestyle brands.A hospitality and culinary graduate of the Swiss Hotel Association and Le Cordon Bleu colleges; he also has a Masters Degree in International Hotel & Tourism Management from The Oxford School of Hospitality Management at Oxford Brookes University; a certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments & Asset Management from Cornell University, and is an elected Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality in the UK.He is on the Advisory Boards of the International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF) Asia; Global Restaurant Investment Forum (GRIF); Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC); and regularly participates on public and anonymous panels judging prominent international awards for hospitality experiences and design, as well as various rankings and publications; including until recently as AHEAD Awards Chair of their Asian Judging Panel.
