I founded Have I Been Pwned (HIBP) in December 2013 as a way to help individuals assess their exposure in major data breaches. The project has since gone on to help tens of millions of people search for their exposure amongst billions of records that have appeared in data breaches. HIBP serves anywhere from tens of thousands to millions of visitors every single day as they seek to discover where they've been exposed online.HIBP has been enormously fulfilling both in terms of the service it's provided to people and the opportunity it's given me to work on what has now become a large scale project. Today, it's used by organisations ranging from a significant portion of the Fortune 500 to governments, intelligence agencies and police forces across the globe. It's also been extensively covered by the worldwide press appearing in major news outlets on a regular basis.

I joined Pluralsight in 2012 when I began writing online courses for them specialising in the information security space. Over the years, I've written dozens of courses that have been viewed by hundreds of thousands of unique subscribers.I regularly present at Pluralsight events for fellow authors and customers around the world. A highlight of my time with the company was keynoting at Pluralsight LIVE 2017 in Salt Lake city alongside other tech luminaries and former First Lady, Michelle Obama.

Report URI is an online service founded by Scott Helme in 2014 to enable website operates to collate various reports generated by browsers. The service is enormously valuable for collating various reports including those generated by HTTP public key pinning (HPKP) violations, expected certificate transparency and in particular, content security policies (CSP).In November 2017, I joined Report URI as both an investor and partner. I founded Superlative Enterprises in 1997 to provide information technology services. It has remained the entity under which I do most of my professional speaking, training, writing and other commercial activities.

Responsible for the software architecture of systems built for the world's largest healthcare company in their fastest growing region. My role included implementing architecture patterns across business units predominantly located in Asia Pacific, but regularly within other emerging market regions including AfME, LATAM and Eastern Europe.

During this period in Pfizer, my responsibilities focused on software architecture patterns for the Asia region, particularly in key markets such as India, China and The Philippines.

After moving into a permanent role following many years of contract work, my initial focus in Pfizer was on the design and architecture of medical systems. These included systems for clinical research and the reporting of adverse events.

The 5 years I spent at Pfizer were in a contract capacity as a software developer building systems on classic ASP, SQL Server then later ASP.NET and SharePoint. During this time, I responsible for the development of dozens of different systems used in the Australia and New Zealand businesses, including platforms that were used as the basis for a significant portion of software projects for many years thereafter.

ICE Interactive (Information, Communication, Entertainment) was an interactive TV company responsible for Australia's first trials of the technology. I worked as a contract technical leader building client side interfaces. My previous experience with the technology gained during my time with Proxicom in London helped secure the role.

I moved to London towards the tail end of the Dot Com boom to work as a contractor building systems for Proxicom. During my time there, I worked extensively with classic ASP, Cold Fusion and interactive TV interfaces. I also built the original front end of the Cahoot online bank.

During my time at DPS, I was responsible for building a number of online systems using HTML and C. These were used by a number of local organisations, predominantly in the travel and gambling industries.

Genesis Innovations was my first foray into software development. In the very early days of the web, it provided a vehicle to build first generation websites for local business dipping their toe into what at the time, was a strange new online world.
