Troy Jensen is the Founder & Executive Chairman at Northport Capital Partners Ltd, a private asset management firm, which launched as nxVenture Capital Ltd in 2010, and after an acquisition event and corporate restructuring, was renamed in September 2018 (nxVenture Capital is now a subsidiary of Northport Capital Partners).After graduating from college, Jensen spent two years in operations management at Jensen Foods Inc., his family owned multi-unit franchise owner and operator of multiple Hardee’s quick service restaurants in the Outer Banks region of North Carolina. In 1998, Jensen moved into the Digital Media segment, ultimately founding three startups.A lifelong entrepreneur, Troy founded his first company, Rent-a-Kid, at the age of 12. At 15, he began trading stocks from his bedroom, utilizing a Tandy 1000 PC and one of the early E-Brokerage services over a large and very slow modem. He continued to actively trade to pay his way in college. He received his MBA from Northern Arizona University in 1996.Troy resides in New York City, is an avid Miami Dolphins and New York Yankees fan, and enjoys traveling, reading, and far too many other personal passions to list here!
