Ever since I can remember I’ve been an inquisitive person who enjoys learning how the “big picture” works. In college I focused on manufacturing and systems engineering (along with software & computers). I enjoy optimizing solutions with people, process and automation.When I think back on my career and volunteer experiences, I’ve had great opportunities for cross-cultural learning and leadership roles.From a volunteer perspective:• Mexico 3 summers work with families and youth• New York City for 3 months co-leading a team of 50 students help indigent and low-income families• Russia for 3 months training “leaders of group leaders” and “leaders of groups” involving 30 people in the formation of 13 groups caring for the lives of 150 people. Leaders said “We never received such training under communism.”From a professional work experience perspective:• Career began with a 2 year program for Engineers learning to code on various software platforms in the context of systems development lifecycle.• Working with GM at their flagship Detroit-Hamtramck Cadillac Assembly Plant implementing Lean Manufacturing and Engineering. Drawing on my background with statistics and quality improvement, I worked with both management and UAW on plant-wide initiatives.• With EDS and HP I held a corporate consulting position for customers outsourcing their IT. As part of a broader ITIL-based set of processes, I lead Service Request and Service Catalog Management. I traveled and work with teams from across Europe and USA.• In my time with BMC Software it has all been with Consulting in Professional Services with delivery of Programs, Projects, and oversight of PMs and their programs/projects across all product areas and types of projects BMC offers. I work with people and delivery tied to US and Canada. I am also part of various world-wide delivery initiatives and global change advisory boards.My technical skills are well balanced with excellent writing, speaking, and relationship skills. I look forward to working with you some day!
