Current* Develop Successful Teams* Oversee School District Technology Department and Managers responsible for Networks, Servers, Computers/Devices, Hardware Repair, Applications, Student Data Privacy, Video Surveillance Cameras.* Team-Develop and Team-Manage District Technology Plans and Budgets* Coordinate with State Board of Education and various state and regional technology groups* Manage District Student Data Privacy Policies and Plans; includes, Responsible Use Policy (RUP), IT System Security, Data Governance Plan, Metadata (Software Vendor) Data Dictionary, and annual Student Data Privacy Employee Training* Participation and memberships in State and Federal K-12 Technology organizations with one goal in mind, to bring the best technology and safest learning opportunities to our schools, administrators, teachers, and students.* Negotiate Vendor Solutions (Software and Hardware Contracts/Agreements)* Implement New Technology Programs; seek new opportunities to improve teacher classroom and student learning experiences.* Identify / participate in grants to be used for internal programs such as annual student CyberCamp, Digital Teaching & Learning, and CyberCorps (in secondary schools); other programs designed for student and teacher improvement.* Stakeholder Coordination: Work with school board, district directors and administrators, community groups and other school districts to assess and implement new policies, procedures, and technology.* Work closely with vendors to develop and promote exceptional relationships, contribute to new-feature reviews and assessments, beta testing.
