The Ronald McDonald House of Delaware serves families with seriously ill children by enabling access to medical care and providing a place that offers comfort, hope, and togetherness.The House provides a “home-away-from-home” for families of seriously ill children who need a place to stay while their child receives treatment at an area hospital. A family may stay at our House whether the child is hospitalized or receiving outpatient treatment.In addition to providing a place to stay, the House offers nurturing and supportive environments where families can be together and find comfort. Each family that checks into the House has a private guest room and access to amenities such as laundry facilities, a fitness center, four different playrooms, multiple kitchens, a movie theater, and an outdoor playground. A hot meal is served every evening.The Ronald McDonald House of Delaware also operates two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms® in Delaware, located in the Women and Children’s Center at Christiana Care’s Newark Campus and in Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware. Family Rooms provide a quiet, peaceful space where families can rest and unwind- located just steps away from neonatal and pediatric intensive care units.

Serve on the school’s leadership and finance team and manage tactical board teams. Developed a culture of philanthropy with current families and students, engaged alumni in new ways, launched a planned giving program, and secured funding for critical capital improvements and new program development. Support tactical board teams by introducing project management methodology to build stronger donor relationships through the visual reporting of monthly fundraising metrics and analyzing giving trends, and applying project management techniques and tools to increase strategic donor engagement practices. Stewarded a donor relationship that secured a $10-million endowment gift.
