Mr. Oder originates, executes and monitors investments for Golub Capital. He is responsible for establishing and maintaining the firm's relationships with premier private equity sponsors located primarily in the western and southeastern United States. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Oder was a Director at Merrill Lynch Capital, where he was involved in sourcing, underwriting, and managing middle market leveraged finance transactions across a variety of industry verticals. Before joining Merrill Lynch Capital, Mr. Oder was a Business Development Officer and Underwriter at Fleet Capital Corporation. He began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP, where he worked in the firm’s Transaction Services Group and Commercial Audit Practice. Mr. Oder graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy, and is a CPA (non-practicing).
