Responsible for a 120M consumer value stream with a 54M materials budget, direct responsibility of assembly, powder coating, fabrication, material supply chain, manufacturing engineering and all finished good inventory management. Led the daily operations with 7 direct reports, 19 indirect and 200+ production employees. ●Recently developed a level load plan which resulted in improved delivery from 38% to 87% on time. In addition this also reduced our employee turnover by 75% and had a positive results on cross training. ●Implemented shop floor metrics and daily accountability by utilizing production control, measurement of the 5 key metrics and identified key opportunities to improve daily output.●Implemented a Continuous Improvement Log for assembly team leaders which resulted in daily kaizen improvements increasing productivity and daily output by 15%●Facilitated a multi site project that realigned the the product in each facility for Auburn, NB and Brillion, WI. This moved allowed Auburn to have a sustainable workforce and less turnover.●Led a capital expenditure project to increase our Powder Coating Capacity within the plant by replacing two 30+ year old systems. Project has a 9M capital expenditure budget with a 2 year payback●Responsible for many successful NPD launches most recently a consumer zero turn (IKON).

● Responsible for the deployment of all Lean, Kaizen and CI events across multiple plants. ● Led, coached and developed 20+ lean interns under the Ariens Lean Internship Program● Direct responsibility for plant manufacturing engineering and quality system (6 direct reports and 7 indirect)● Consulted on 125+ kaizen events at 4 different plants

● Key leader during the Ariens Lean transformation with direct involvement in 90 kaizen events ● Project management related to numerous capital projects including: Lasers, presses, machining, robotics and plant reorganizations. ● Responsible for all fabrication processes from ram material through weld.

● Mentored under the Shingijutsu Consulting team learning lean, kaizen and TPS deployment. ● Responsible for coordinating 60+ kaizen events, all lean training and leadership development.

Responsibilities include the manufacturing engineering support for the Harness, Rotor and Switch Gear departments. Led many process improvements and capital projects resulting in improved quality and productivity.

Worked closely with the UAW to improve processes and maintain the proper labor documentation.
