As a side business, I did remote development on data-driven web applications using ColdFusion.

I manage monthly meetings by scheduling speakers and sending email communications to over 400 CFUG members. I update and add features to the colderfusion.com site. I also interface with Adobe to bring the latest information to the CFUG members.

Brief history: I began working for Control Data (CD) out of college. In 1998, Control Data acquired Creative Internet Solutions (CIS). I started working in the CIS division of CD in 1999. About a year later, Syntegra, and arm of British Telecom, acquired Control Data. After that merger, both the CD and CIS names went away.
