As an enrichment teacher at The New School, I get to play with everyone in our Early Childhood Division every single school day. I work with our youngest learners at 12 months all the way up to our pre-K children who are 4-5 years of age AND I get to see our kindergarteners twice a week. We work on developing gross motor skills and language development as well as music appreciation through song and play. I get to have a lot of fun while making music and playing games with lots and lots of kids!

For nine years I worked full-time with children and families in Washington Heights, providing sing-a-long songs, games, classes for spiritual formation and quite a bit of fun.In other words, I facilitated all programming for children in a progressive faith community of about 250 members. I ran a free neighborhood play group for over 75 families each week and worked with about 50 children every Sunday morning. I coordinated adult education classes, teacher training, and website administration. I also have front-line experience helping in the work our church has done with after-school, homeless outreach, LGBT advocacy, young adult ministry, a monthly thrift sale, and organizing large community events (Harvest Festival, Tree Lighting Ceremony, Annual Toy & Coat Drive, Summer Concerts).
