Starting in 1977 by Fran Jabara, the center, and myself, strive to positively impact Wichita State University and grow Wichita's economy by helping students, faculty, and community entrepreneurs learn how to develop innovative ideas and guide them toward commercialization and venture creation.

As an elected official for the city of Andover, our responsibilities are setting the city's direction and strategic plan, being fiscally responsible, and high-level oversight of the city functions. While our council is excellent at this, without the team in place we have in the city, it wouldn't be where it is today. And today, it's the best city to live in, with the best school system, and the highest quality of life, in Kansas. Being on the council has afforded me to be on several boards and committees include Promote Andover Inc., the Parks Department, the Park Planning Committee, the USD 385 School Board, the Andover Rotary Club, the Site Plan Review Committee, the Andover Chamber of Commerce, the Wichita Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, and the League of Kansas Municipalities.

The mission of the League is to strengthen and advocate for the interests of the cities of Kansas to advance the general welfare and promote the quality of life of the people who live within our cities.

Serving as a board member, the Technical Advisory Committee chair and the Vice-Chair of WAMPO has been an honor. The board is responsible for the programming and funding for the Wichita regions transportation project. From highways and roads to the technology that keeps us safe.

Managed a staff of developers and network administrators. Designed and implemented the communications (network, phone, security) for two new 80,000sqft building and moved the company several times. Managed the development of an ERP system.
