Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I am here to explore new career opportunities, expand my network, and connect with potential employers. I graduated From the University of North Florida in Fall of '09 with a Bachelors of Science in Communications, Public Relations. As a student I waited tables. There I learned to interact with many different types of people in a variety of situations. I grew as a salesman and became very comfortable as a "people person".Upon graduating I struggled to find work in the field of my degree. I was however able to have an internship with the American Cancer Society. I worked as Publicity Chair for the Mandarin Relay for Life. This may have been the best experience of my professional life. As Publicity Chair I was responsible for creating awareness for our even. I worked w a local newspapers, the Mandarin Newsline, to publish news flashes and articles updating the Mandarin community of our progress and success. Since then I have worked a few jobs outside of the Public Relations field. I have been a line cook, a substitute teacher and an assistant manager for Famous Footwear.I have almost 2 years of management experience, Nine years of face to face sales experience and good verbal and oral communications skills. I hope to find a career where I am able to exercise these skills and grow as a professional!
