Our mission is to help unbanked consumers make use of smartphone technology to significantly reduce the time, cost and risk inherent in using cash. We created a digital wallet that enables international money transfer, top-ups, bill payment, P2P and retail payments. We also created the BillMo Digital Debit Card to allow users to make online purchases and push the boundaries of financial inclusion.

Development leader in the Biller Solutions unit within Fiserv. This group in responsible for the development of products in immediate payments via web, IRV, web service and mobile interfaces to allow our Biller partners to receive real time notification of payment remittance on behalf of consumers. Responsible for four different products with 16 onshore team members and approximately 20 offshore developers.

Development leader in the Mobile Solutions group within Fiserv. This included the due diligence and acquisition integration of Mobile Commerce Ltd. (M-Com) out of New Zealand. In this position I was responsible for the design, development, and testing of Fiserv’s ASP Mobile Solutions team enabled key Fiserv banking assets via the Mobile Channel. This group included 7 direct reports and 25 full time associates in the US.Achievements- Worked on the M-Com acquisition in a technical due diligence capacity. In conjunction with the Mobile Strategy team participated in the business case, integration plan, and integration execution.- Built the hosted product to support thousands of Financial Institutions in just over a three-year period on a Fiserv ASP Mobile solution. The platform currently supports millions of customers with a 100% annual growth target. - Over 300 client branded phone apps developed for the the Apple and Google Play stores. Built processes and automation to rapidly deploy and update apps to the markets. - Maintained a product availability of 99.5% during a period of rapid customer expansion, product enhancement, and process implementation. - Led the definition and implementation of an agile adoption optimized for time zone differences and enterprise scale that met Fiserv Corporate audit and regulatory requirements.- Defined the security strategy for the Mobile Solutions business unit with the Fiserv Enterprise Risk and Resiliency team. Set scope and implemented testing across a quickly evolving mobile landscape.- Awarded the “Development Hero” award by Digital Channels leadership for efforts related to delivering the Mobile ASP Solution

Successfully managed the growth of Brightree operations during a period of dramatic revenue growth. Responsible for the development, testing, operations and customer support of Brightree’s market-leading billing and business management service for the Home Medical Equipment market.

Responsible for the development, support, and operations of CheckFree’s industry-leading online bill payment and presentment services. This includes CheckFree’s portfolio of CheckFree Web, Small Business, Financial View, and Web Services APIs hosted solutions. Oversee all aspects of project management, user experience, design, development, software quality, and customer deployment. Primary development liaison in maintaining CheckFree relationships with Financial Institution partners, vendors, and business development activities. Current experience in IT Portfolio Management processes and offshore development activities. Current span of control includes 4 direct reports, 90 full time associates, and 10 contract associates within the current organizational structure.

Worked with a team of Anderson and client personnel to design, develop and implement services and products. Team produced technical requirements and design documents, assisted in construction, and planned/executed testing and training for clients. Also created functional responsibilities and processes and recommendations to close gaps and issues with clients.- Led a $2M data warehousing project team working with a large telecommunications provider to implement a Performance Reporting Data Warehouse/Decision Support System. The technical architecture included Oracle 7.x DBMS, Microsoft Internet Information Server on NT 4.0 and MicroStrategy DSS Web/DSS Agent. - Developed the technical architecture and framework for the financial organization of a $900M IT department. Performed a current state assessment of the architecture and systems used for internal and external customer reporting. - Designed and implement a Lotus Notes application to support an Activity Based Costing Project of a large banking institution. The application was developed in Lotus Notes 4.1, running on OS/2 servers. Developed the user interface, forms, views, and exports to a proprietary ABC application. - Other projects included Custom Systems Development and Change Enablement.
