As Special Projects Coordinator, I am responsible for managing the Morgan Stanley Partnership with Aflac. This relationship provides Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors from the Peoria, Bloomington & Quad Cities locations with an additional stream of revenue in addition to bringing another added value to their clients. With that, we together identify potential clients that they already have a relationship with including CEOs, CFOs and business owners. The job of the FA in this partnership is to solely set up the initial meeting with these businesses and from there, my team handles all future meetings and enrollments and provides continuing service to the account. With the ongoing changes with Health Care Reform, Aflac offerings are becoming a part of the core benefit package to fill the gaps that health insurance leaves behind. Business owners and their employees alike are finding the value in these plans more now than ever before.

As a Financial Advisor, I became licensed in all lines of insurance in 1988. My concentration was in retirement planning focusing on life insurance and annuities. In 1995, I migrated into business insurance when I joined forces with an employee benefits firm and managed the portfolios of the insurance clients of that firm. At that time I was series 6,7,63 and 65 licensed. I averaged over 100 life applications per year, along with $45,000,000 under my management on the investment side at any given time depending on the market value.In 2011, I launched a relationship program for Aflac to strengthen the ties between the company and brokers. This relationship is still being utilized today.
