Williams served 25 years in juvenile and adult prison facilities. While incarcerated, he became a certified paralegal, founded a video production and first award winning radio/podcast program in San Quentin State Prison.Williams has worked as a Youth Program Development Specialist, Restorative Justice Facilitator, Program Coordinator, Motivational Speaker, Editor-In-Chief, Columnist, Cinematographer, Filmmaker, and Multimedia Producer. As a Soros Justice Fellow, Williams created a national multimedia platform and community engagement program that helps formerly incarcerated and systems-impacted people document their experiences, engage the public, and control their own narratives.
