Acted as a frontline underwriter and wrote new business for qualified risks, followed up on quotes given to potential clients, ran DMV, credit and background checks on all potential clients, assessed wether or not potential clients qualified for standard or non standard company. Responsible for retaining new business for the first three months, educated all potential clients on how to properly protect themselves with adequate coverage individually tailored to their specific needs for all personal lines of insurance.
